History

Our history curriculum aims to help our pupils build a detailed knowledge and understanding of local, national, and international history. Our pupils explore complex concepts such as democracy and invasion, while developing historical thinking skills. We prioritise the development of communication and vocabulary, encouraging children to express their understanding using history-specific language in debates and discussions.
